CLAUDE BISAILLON Claude Bisaillon passed away March 9, 2009 after a prolonged illness. He is survived by his loving wife, Ella Bisaillon. Claude and Ella shared their lives for 30 years and were married in a small ceremony 11 years ago. Claude cared for his stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and provided support to our mom in good and bad times. He embraced a level of responsibility to the family founded upon respect and love and for these gifts, he is affectionately remembered. As well, he leaves to celebrate the shared values of hard work, education and caring by Mitchell Lavallee (Rosita), Rose Unger (Jack), Rick Lavallee (Shawna), Florence Spositio (Rob) and Dr. Barry Lavallee (Debbie). It is within this circle of love that he continues his journey. We thank the nurses and staff at Riverview Health Center, believing they are angels in disguise, for providing respectful encouragement and support. Additionally we wish to thank Dr. A. Chochinov of St. Boniface E.R., Dr. T. St. Godard and Dr. Lau of Riverview Health Centre for their advocacy, support and care of Claude during the last week of his life. Claude was a meticulous, quick witted, fast paced worker and was proud to be a part of the Quick Transfer team for 30 years. Our stepfather enjoyed sports and introduced this obsession to our mom. He and our mom spent many wonderful times together on summer outings with friends, visiting close relations at dinners and enjoying their 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. And while Claude had not seen his son in over 30 years and for reasons beyond his control, he spoke of him often and wondered how he was doing. Ella invites family and friends to come celebrate Claude's life, March 12, 2009 at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler, viewing at 10:30 a.m. followed by a luncheon. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens (2:00 p.m.).
