PAULETTE MALONEY 1943 - 2009 On Sunday, March 8, 2009, we lost our wife, mother, grandma and best friend to cancer. Paulette was born in Selkirk on August 4, 1943 to Elinore and Thomas Morrison, who have predeceased her. Paulette lived in Transcona most of her life, but in her heart always remained a Selkirk girl. Paulette worked at Canada Safeway in many different capacities for over 30 years. In retirement, Paulette has enjoyed summers camping and winters in Weslaco, TX, at the Pine to Palm Park, with lots of golfing which she had grown to love. Paulette leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her love and friend of 44 years, Joe; son Sean (Lisa) and their daughters, Sydney and Cara; daughter Joelle (Joe) Landreville and their daughters, Kaitlyn, Stephanie and son Brett; brother Hugh (Judy) Morrison; sister Cindy (Jim) Densley and family; Aunt Olive Adams and numerous beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Thank you to all of the beautiful friends and family, both here and scattered throughout the country that have been there for us in this time of need. Thank you to CancerCare nurse Debbie Scott, her co-workers, and Dr. Silha at Health Sciences Centre for their care and concern. A celebration of Paulette's life will be held Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to a charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to: TRANSCONA FUNERAL CHAPEL 1800 Day St., Winnipeg, MB 222-6677
