DOROTHY JEAN DEVANEY Dorothy Devaney passed away peacefully from this life on March 6, 2009 at the age of 82. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Jack, sons Jeff (Cheryl) Doug (Darlene) grandchildren Matthew, Brittany, Jayson, Tyler, Taryn and Leah. She grew up in the west end on Home Street and attended Greenway and Daniel McIntyre schools. Dorothy and Jack were married September 14, 1951. She started her working career at Great West Life. Following the birth of her sons she happily spent the rest of her life lovingly raising her family. Dorothy and Jack travelled extensively to Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Cuba and many other locations. She also enjoyed camping at Falcon Lake, curling and square dancing. We wish to thank the wonderful staff of the 3rd floor at Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their years of compassionate care and support. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends are invited to make a donation to Kildonan Personal Care Home to further patient care if so inclined.
