MILDRED BERYL EAKIN November 23, 1926 - March 7, 2009 Suddenly on March 7, 2009, Mildred Eakin, beloved mother of Brenlee (Ron) Groening, Brian Eakin and Nana to Brittany Groening, her pride and joy. She is also survived by her sister Joyce Hughes; brother Ray Trinder; nephews, Bill Hughes (Ann), John Hughes (Barb). Mom is predeceased by her husband Bob Eakin (1978) and close to her heart her grandson Todd Groening (2006). Mom will be missed dearly by her family and friends and especially her constant companion Charlie (her dog). In accordance with Mom's wishes, there will be no formal service. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Humane Society or to Children's Wish Foundation. Flowers are respectfully declined. Mom - There are things we don't want to happen, but have to accept. Things we don't want to know, but have to learn. People we can't live without, but have to let go. I let you go away from me with heavy heart, but knowing you are going to be with our boy! Love, Bren
