MARIE CHAPPEL (nee KLYMKO) May 23, 1941 - March 8, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marie Chappel at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre on March 8,2009, after suffering for several years from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. She passed away in the company of her loving husband of forty-six years, Frank Chappel. Born in Fort Frances, Ontario, on May 23, 1941, Marie was predeceased by her parents, John and Marion Klymko. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Frank and their 2 children, Julie (Al Buttrey) of Kelowna, British Columbia, Jeffrey (Jennifer Henderson), four younger brothers, Alex of Winnipeg, Edward (Patricia) of Perth, Ontario, James (Lorraine) of Winnipeg and Gregory (Catharine) of Kitchener, Ontario. Sister in law Beatrice (Carl), brother in law Robert (Daphne) three grandchildren Devon, Katrina and Phoenix, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Because Frank was with the RCMP from 1960 to 1992, Marie experienced life in various Manitoba Communities, She enjoyed making new friends wherever the family moved. Marie and Frank moved to Winnipeg in 1960, where she continued her hobby, knitting, at which she excelled. Marie and Frank also enjoyed trips in their camper. Celebration of Marie's life will be held on Monday, March 16, 2009 in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel 211 Regent Avenue, West at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marie's name to the Canadian Arthritis Society 105-386 Broadway, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 3R6 Funeral Arrangements In Care Of: WHEELER FUNERAL CHAPEL 211 REGENT AVENUE (AT BOND) 224-1525
