PHYLLIS M. WILSON (nee TOHMS) Peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2009, Phyllis Wilson, aged 68 years, beloved wife of Ron, passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ron of 42 years; sons, Tim (Suzanne) and Chris (Roseanne); granddaughter Alyssa; sister Maxine (Raymond) Vollrath, her extended family and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Robert Tohms. Phyllis was born August 11, 1940 in Arnaud, Manitoba. She graduated from Glen Lawn Collegiate before taking her training as a nurse at the Grace Hospital School of Nursing. After becoming a registered nurse her career took her to Churchill, Manitoba, Kenora, Sioux Lookout, London and North Bay, Ontario. She gave up her career when she became a mother. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nursing staff of Level 5, Unit 5 at the Seven Oaks Hospital and to Dr. Moncek and Dr. Lezak. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street.
