Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUDITH-ANN LAND (nee ANDERSON/CARRUTHERS) It is with extreme heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith-Ann Land age 62 years of Winnipeg, MB suddenly but peacefully at Concordia Hospital ICU in Winnipeg on Friday March 13, 2009. Judi will be sadly missed by her husband Paul; son Glenn; daughter-in-law Tina; grandson Jason; granddaughter Tayler; stepson Paul (Deane); grandson Jeremy; granddaughter Jordan; sister-in-law Jean and brother-in-law Jim (Connie). Judi was predeceased by her parents Douglas and Thelma Carruthers, and her sister Pamela. She will always be in the hearts and minds of her sisters, Geri, Toni (Murray), Patricia, Denise (Gerry), Wendy, Susan (Randy); brothers, Derek (Darlene), David and Brad (Jackie). Also surviving are Aunty Irene, 12 nieces, 10 nephews, 18 cousins and numerous friends in Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Lethbridge and Texas. Judi was born on November 9, 1946 in Port Arthur, Thunder Bay, ON, she was one of 11 children. Judi moved to Winnipeg, MB with her only son Glenn where she met and married the love of her life Paul Land. Judi worked at Deer Lodge Centre as a health care aide and retired after 19½ years. Judi enjoyed spending her time travelling with Paul especially spending her winters in Texas and being with her grandchildren. A memorial service for Judi will be held on Wednesday March 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home on #1 Hwy E. opposite of Tinker Town. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Judi's name to the Siloam Mission or Canadian Cancer Society.
