GERTRUDE CELINA FLETT (nee SENEZ) December 1, 1918 - March 17, 2009 Peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at the age of 90 years, Gertrude Flett passed away at Foyer Valade. Gert was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, Donald J. Flett, her parents Nap and Alice Senez, sister Alice Kozdial, sister-in-law Simone Senez, nieces Claire and baby Dorothy. Gert is lovingly remembered by her sister Bernice (John) Pelletier, brothers Jim (Lucille) Senez, John (Leona) Senez and Roland Senez; many nieces, nephews and other family and dear friends. Born in Moose Jaw, SK on December 1, 1918, her family returned to Saint-Boniface when Gert was young. Gert and Don were married on June 2, 1951. They lived in the Toronto and St. Catharine's area for many years until they retired to Winnipeg in 1988. Gert was an accomplished pianist, an avid ten-pin bowler, golfer and curler. The family wishes to thank the staff at Foyer Valade (3rd Floor) for their compassionate and outstanding care in these past three years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Flowers are gratefully declined.
