LOUIS P. LAVALLEE We are sad to announce the passing of our father Louis Lavallee on Tuesday March 17, 2009. Dad was born in St. Laurent, Manitoba on August 25, 1930. He worked very hard in the mines in his younger years and worked for over 25 years for Winnipeg Supply until his illness took over his ability to work any longer. Left to cherish his memory are his nine children, Claudette (Wayne), Yvette (Dave), Velma (Harold), Lorraine (Merrill), Pete, Esther (Bob), Adrienne (George), Brenda (Sidney) and June (Yvon). His 21 grandchildren, 35 great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. His many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his dad, Baptiste, mother, Catherine and his brothers, Alphonse, George, Douglas, Mike, Raymond and Rene, and his sisters, Mary, Virginia, Alice and Cecile. Also one grandson (Shane) and one great-grandson (Cody). Dad was the last surviving member in his family, that loved and missed him so much. We take great comfort in knowing that they are still together once again. We would like to thank our Mom for her comfort. Prayers will be said on Friday March 20, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church 181 Austin St. North. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday March 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. There is no more pain Dad, you can now walk, dance and play your fiddle once again. You were a great Dad and will always be loved and missed. Expressions of sympathy can be made at www.knyshfuneralchapel.com KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 1161C Fife St. 582-0973
