ARNOLD BENJAMIN SCHMIDT September 18, 1915 - March 16, 2009 Peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2009 Arnold Benjamin Schmidt passed away at the age of 93 years. Arnold was predeceased by his parents, Rudolf and Martha Schmidt; brother Herman, Arthur, Leo, George and Ernie and his sister Willa. He leaves to mourn his passing his brother Ralph (Olga) of Kelowna, BC, his sister Caroline Matthews of Winnipeg and many nieces and nephews that will dearly miss their beloved Uncle. Arnold was a very hard working man all of his life and enjoyed life to the fullest as long as he was able. Arnold was a friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. A Private Family Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation in Arnold's memory may be made to a charity of ones choice. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
