Missing you dad. It has been 6 years and it still feels like just yesterday when I got the call you were in the hospital and had broken your neck. You fought like hell to stay in this life, but it was not to be. There are so many things I wish you were here to see, so many times I wish I could pick up the phone and call you. It's ok though because you are always with me, with each action I take, it is with you in mind. You have taught me well. I only hope I have taught my children and grandchildren as well. I love you. Miss you. - Posted by: joy (daughter) on: Mar 04, 2015

I read Don's book way back in the 80s, which I found inspirational. One day when I was canvassing on environmental issues I met him when he opened his door to me. I was so excited and told him that he was one of my heros. He invited me in and we had a wonderful chat. Later a friend was looking for a film subject and I recommended focusing on the community organizing in Riverdale where we lived at the time. He completed it and titled it "Making it Happen". Coincidently my friend moved to Winnipeg many years ago and just recently dropped off some items for a church sale at his local church Westminster. This time he happened to look up and facing him was a photograph of a young former minister of the church, the Reverend Don Keating! He scanned it and sent it to me. So of course that got me thinking about Don again. And I found this site. He was a wonderful man who inspired a lot of people during his life. I only knew him for a short time but he had an impact that has lasted ever since. Thank you for providing this opportunity to add my "Life Story" of the Supercat. - Posted by: Aine Suttle (Don inspired me through his book, The Power to Make it Happen.) on: Dec 02, 2012
