LINDA DIANNE PESTRICK August 28, 1949 - March 18, 2009 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Dianne Pestrick on March 18, 2009 at the age of 59 years. Linda was predeceased by her father Lloyd Hill and mother Esther Hill (nee Adams), sister Betty Gross, Aunts Dolly Goodman and Margaret Adams, and her Uncle Henry Adams. Left to cherish Linda's memory are her husband Chris Pestrick, daughters: Tracy Murray (William Dixon) and Sandra Glenn (John Glenn); sisters: Wendy Arbouw (Peter Steinberg) and Barbara Mallard (Kevin); brother-in-law: Peter Pestrick; grandchildren: Christine Murray, Samuel Murray, Alekzander Dixon and one on the way, due May 16th, 2009; niece: Kimberley Fleming (Kirk) and nephews: Darren Gross (Stephanie), Dan Arbouw (Kelly), Greg Arbouw (Heidi), and Jamie Arbouw (Kendall); and numerous cousins, great nieces, nephews and friends. Linda was always so full of life. She always loved to laugh and make other people happy. She loved to camp and travel with her husband, Chris. She had a great love for gardening, crossword and other types of puzzles, planting flowers and painting. We would frequently find mom on the computer in the middle of the night playing word whomp on Pogo. She was always a great care giver, making sure that all her family was well taken care of. She loved to spoil her kids and grandkids rotten. Mom loved to go for spa pedicures with her daughter, Sandra. She really enjoyed camping with her daughter Tracy and her grandchildren. She was always very selfless and loved to make sure her family was well fed. Linda loved to listen to her music, all different varieties. Linda loved garage saleing and second hand store shopping looking for any unusual and different objects for other people. Celebration of Linda's life will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue, West at Bond.
