AGNES WIENS (nee THIESSEN) 1918 - 2009 On Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Salem Home in Winkler, MB, Agnes Wiens aged 90 years formerly of Carman went to her eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her passing, three daughters, Carolyn and Frank Elias of Miami, MB, Janice and Peter Kroeker of Lockport, MB, Lynda and Harold Pauls of Winkler, MB, as well as one daughter-in-law, Lorraine Wiens of Winnipeg; MB; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers. She was predeceased by her husband, Herman Wiens in 2006; son, Donald in 2008; three grandchildren; one sister and two brothers. Viewing will be today from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St., Winkler and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Carman Mennonite Church, 105 Main St. North Carman. Interment to follow Graysville Mennonite Church Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to either the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the Salem Foundation, both available at the church.
