ADRIENNE TOUROND November 15, 1927 March 22, 2009 It is with sadness the family of Adrienne announces her passing at Riverview. Adrienne is survived by her children, Lorraine (Norbert), daughter-in-law Rose, George (Delores), Raymond (Brenda), Eleanor (George), Irene (Dick), Eugene (Dorothy), May, Edith (Ralph), Joyce (Garry), Phil (Claudette), Bruce (Doreen), Stella (Richard) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Jeanne (Emile) and by her brothers, Adelard (Denise), Adrien (Gilberte). Predeceased by her husband Leo, daughter Rita, son Noel, daughter-in-law Olga and son-in-law Ken; parents Isidore and Marguerite, her brothers, Isidore, Henri (Marie) and her sister Bernadette (Leo). Born in Carick, MB, she married Leo Tourond December 31, 1942 and lived and raised their family in Sandilands, MB. Mom loved card games, knitting and all the family gatherings. There was a sparkle in her eye when the grandchildren and great-grandchildren came to visit. She always had time for all of us. She loved travelling during the last few years to visit family outside of Manitoba. Thank you so much for all the family help and support in our lives. You were so important to Mom. Thanks to all the staff at Riverview Health Centre on 3E. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society. A funeral service will be held on Thursday March 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodridge Roman Catholic Parish, Woodridge, Manitoba. Funeral arrangements are with Vita Funeral Home. (204) 425 3114
