VALERIE JOAN FISHER Valerie passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 62 years of age. She will always be remembered by her mother, Marquerite Fisher, by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith and Charlene Fisher, Doug and Shirley Fisher, by her sister and brother-in-law Diane and Bob Papineau, by her sister-in-law Pat Fisher, by her nephews and nieces and their spouses, Bruce and Terumi Fisher, Jim Fisher, Audrey and Mike Dupre, Doug and Barb Fisher, Shaunda and Jack Nickart, Karen and Mike Fleming, Keith Anderson, by special friend Margaret Anderson and by other relatives and friends. Valerie's father Roy died in 1998, brother Ronnie in 2008 and brother-in-law Murray Anderson in 1998. As a child Valerie attended the Kinsman School and later worked for many years at Versatech Industries. Valerie was a good worker and was very adept with her hands. For recreation she enjoyed swimming, bowling and dancing. For the past three years she was given excellent care at the Riverview Health Centre. A public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 26 at Thomson In the Park , 1291 McGillivray Blvd., from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will take place Friday, March 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park.
