LOUIS WIRGAU April 28, 1933 - March 22, 2009 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Louis Wirgau, beloved uncle, brother and friend, on Sunday, March 22, 2009, at the St. Boniface Hospital. Predeceased by his parents, sisters, Mary and Ella; brother Harold; nephews, Bill and Bradley. He leaves to mourn his passing his nieces, Kristine (Kevin) Jordan and Paige, Carrie Wirgau; godson Curtis (Loretta); siblings: Tillie, Mike (Lil), Isabel, Emma (Stan), Margaret (Henry), Betty (Paul), Judy (Ernie), Richard (Denise) and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Cavett, Dr. Carter and the 6A medicine nurses for their wonderful care. At Louis' request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
