Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPRISCILLA (PAT) HICKS (nee HUBLEY) It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Pat Hicks on March 20, 2009 at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg. Pat will be sadly missed by her daughter Lynn Schellenberg; daughter-in-law Linda Hicks; granddaughters, Maisie Hicks, Ruby Calvez (Adam); great-grandchildren, Jordan Gold, Kylie Calvez and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Jean Duncan and James Hubley; husband John Hicks; brother Cecial Hubley; sons, Raymond Hicks, Ronald Hicks, Collin Hicks and grandson Brian Schellenberg. Pat was born in Manitou, MB, February 3, 1931. Pat worked for Eatons for several years and then Woolco for 13 years. Pat married John April 5, 1952 and started their family. They were posted to Germany for three years and then to Vancouver for four years and returned to Winnipeg in 1970. Pat was a member of the Winnipeg South Osborne legion branch 252. She enjoyed knitting, working in her yard and spending time with her family and friends. Prayers will be held at Thomson Funeral Home at Sherbrook and Broadway, Wednesday March 25, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. and the service March 26, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Brookside Cemetery. The family would like to thank all Pat's home care workers for their support. We know she appreciated all you did for her very much. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Concordia Hospital for the care you provided during her short stay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one's charity of choice.
