GRACE EVELYN BEVAN Into the light October 12, 1921 - March 21, 2009 Grace passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short bout of the flu. Grace was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to George and Myrtle Bevan (nee Smith). She grew up the eldest of three children and was a caring big sister . Grace worked as a postal manager, cosmetic manager and a grocery store manager. Grace loved music and singing. She was an aspiring artist. Grace will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Ramona-Rose and Don Faust; grandchildren, Forrest and Harmony; nephew Mark Palmer (Darlene); and nieces, Chrystal and Brittany. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Jack, sister Georgina and grandson George. A celebration of Grace's life will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. from the chapel of Thompson Funeral Service with Rev. Marcella Mugford officiating. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, family and friends may make donations to the Kootenay Lake Hospital Foundation (Broader Horizon Fund), 3 View St., Nelson, BC V1L 2V1. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Thompson Funeral Service Ltd.
