VICTOR (VIC) FRANK GALLIMORE Mr. Victor Vic Frank Gallimore, age 78 years, passed away March 23, 2009 in Thunder Bay, ON. Vic was born September 18, 1930 in Northwich, England. In 1948 he enlisted in the RAF and spent time in Germany. After completing his military service, he sailed to Canada in 1950, joining his parents in Manitoba. He was employed with NCR Corporation for 38 years. He was branch manager for 11 years in Brandon, and later accepted a transfer to Thunder Bay as regional manager in 1966. Vic was very active with the Kinsmen Club in Brandon, MB and formed many cherished friendships. Vic will be fondly remembered by Flo, his loving wife of 54 years, and his children Blaine (Bev) Gallimore and Robin (Grant) Carlson, Rhonda (Rod) Raslack, and Kris (Amber) Gallimore; eight grandchildren: Sherri (Ryan) Gallimore, Stacey Gallimore, Michelle Carlson, Randi Raslack, Jamie Raslack, Caleb Frazier, Elizabeth Frazier and Shaelynn Gallimore; sisters: Margaret Gair, Pat Gallimore, and Vicki Gallimore of Winnipeg, MB. Vic was predeceased by his parents Frank and Dorothy, infant son Spencer, in-laws Barney and Ruth Clemenson, and beloved canine friend Kodiak. Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Harbourview Funeral Centre, Thunder Bay. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Victor's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
