EDNA HILDA MANN (nee COCHRANE) November 25, 1924 March 23, 2009 Peacefully in her sleep after a lengthy illness, Mom went home to be with her creator on March 23, 2009. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Myrtle (Stanley), Douglas (Mabel), Russell (Frances), Mel (Roberta Carol), Lorna (Alex), Ernest, Alma, Suzy (Bruce), Patrick, Randall, Bradley (Betty Anne) and Hilda. Mom is also survived by her 40 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is reunited with her moms, Florence Hardisty and Harriet Harry (nee Hardisty), father Riley Cochrane, first husband Donald Starr Sr. and second husband of 34 years Samuel George Mann, her children Ronald, Evelyn, Donald, and Jeannine as well as numerous relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Randy, Bradley, Charles, Geoff, Chris and Michael. Honourary Pallbearers will be her daughters and grandchildren. Wake service will be held from March 23 to 26 at Sagkeeng Christ Anglican Church. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. also at Sagkeeng Christ Anglican Church. A feast in honour of Mom will be held following the service at the Parish Hall. All are invited to attend.
