Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACK SEARLE March 23, 1923 - March 24, 2009 With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Jack, husband, father, uncle and grandfather. After a brief illness, surrounded by his family, he is finally at peace. He will be forever remembered by Peggy, his loving wife of 59 years; and his children, Suzanne (John Hoogstraten), Hart (Brenda), Paul, Matthew (Pierre Villeneuve); and his grandchildren, Rachael Hoogstraten Searle, Michael and Andrea Searle, Miriam, Esther and Jonathan Searle. Jack was the most kind and considerate man. Jack possessed a wonderful sense of humour and a keen interest in classical music, hockey and curling, as well as sailing and barbecuing during the summer at Gimli, MB. He was born in Hamilton, ON and lived most of his life in Winnipeg, MB. Jack spent many years in the furniture industry as first a manager with a manufacturer and later as a partner in Sawhill Furniture. Jack was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Riva Sirulnikoff; sister Zelda Walsh; and brothers, Lewis Searle and Harry Sirulnikoff. He is survived by sisters-in-law, Bobbi Searle, Cynthia Coop and Sally Bookbinder. The Searle family would like to thank personal caregiver Susan Haberer and all the wonderful staff at the C3 Program and Carewest Sarcee for the care and kindness shown to Jack. At Jack's request, there will be no funeral. If friends so desire, donations can be made to the Calgary Health Trust C3 Program, Carewest Sarcee, #800 - 11012 Macleod Tr. SE, Calgary, AB T2J 6A5.
