Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLEN GORDON MORRISON POCKETS August 28, 1947 - March 24, 2009 Glen passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24th. He is survived by his wife Linda; mother Agnes Morrison; brother Murray (Nadia); sisters, Shirley Dunfield (John), Shelagh Morrison (Curtis); mother-in-law Nancy Furey, and sisters and brothers-in-law in the Furey family. He was predeceased by his father Clayton in 2008. Glen grew up in Morse Place (E.K.). He was a hockey and baseball player in his teens, and a life-long curler, but his true passion was golfing. He was a member of the Transcona and Rossmere Golf Clubs, and for the past 26 years was a member of the Pinawa Golf Club. One of his favourite activities off the golf course was playing bridge. During his 35 year career with the Manitoba Government, Glen held a variety of positions with several departments. He retired from Manitoba Labour in December 2002. A Memorial Service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, Winnipeg on Saturday, March 28th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Glen's memory to a charity of one's choice.
