HELEN MARGARET (HAGBORG) GRANT A mother, wife, artist, nurse and friend to all who needed her, Helen went to Heaven to join her family and her dogs on March 23, 2009 at the age of 70 years. Helen married Edward Grant on August 16, 1958. Helen devoted her life to his excellent care until his death on January 4, 2006. Helen was also an incredible Mom to June, Laurie and Wendy. Memories of summer days at the beach in Pinawa, birthday party sandwiches on the rock in the backyard and watching her find humour in just about everything, will forever make us smile. As did her parents Clarence and Martha, Helen lived by the golden rule. Her gentle spirit and joie de vivre endured, no matter what. A private service will be held in the summer. Instead of flowers, Helen would have appreciated a gift to the protection of animals through the Winnipeg Humane Society. Until we meet again, sweet little girl, we love you, June, Laurie and Wendy
