ARTHUR C. SCOTT It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather on March 24, 2009. After a life-long struggle with kidney disease, surrounded by his family, he is finally at peace. Art will be sadly missed by his only son Richard; daughter-in-law Marlene and grandchildren, Drew, Alexis and Kira. He was predeceased by his parents, Euphemia and William Scott, his brothers Jim and Billy. Art was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on January 30, 1942. He spent his early years working in the ship yards before coming to Canada in 1967. He soon settled in Winnipeg but his heart never left his homeland. Art spent his working years as a pattern maker and at the end of his career worked for many years at Amsco. Spending time with his grandchildren and keeping up with his favorite English football team was a favorite pastime until the very end. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 338-7111
