Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN MAE LEAMAN (nee Kostynuick) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen (Kae) Leaman on Thursday, March 26, 2009. In addition to her husband Bill, she leaves to mourn her daughter Heather, son-in-law Larry, grandchildren Tiffany Ford (Tom) and Allan. She was predeceased by her brothers Harry and Eddie. Kathleen grew up in Gonor before settling in Winnipeg. Kae and Bill were married on July 7, 1949 - this year would have marked their 60th wedding anniversary. Kae worked outside the home for many years as a seamstress at Manitoba Clothing, Van's and Gill's Tailorshops. When she retired, she took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and played an important role in their lives. She was so proud of the wonderful adults they have become. Tiffany is now married and living in North Dakota and Allan, a Private just completing his training as an Aviation Technician in the Canadian Air Force. Kae found time for hobbies such as bowling and dancing in addition to being a great cook and baker. She was a member of several ladies Committees such as the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #l Ladies Auxiliary, the I.W.V.A. and Postal Club. The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone at Sterling House, Middlechurch Home, the Emergency Responders, and the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their kindness. Funeral Services will be held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Stroke Foundation or the Winnipeg Humane Society are gratefully appreciated. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
