Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA DIANE JULIUS July 15, 1955 - March 19, 2009 It is with heavy hearts we mourn the loss of our beloved Linda. While vacationing in Jamaica with her life-partner Leslie at her side, Linda passed away peacefully battling cancer. She is predeceased by her parents Jack and Evelyn Julius and leaves to mourn her loving partner, Leslie McDonald; her brother, Gary (Sherry); nieces, Kelly, Christy (Gerald); her Auntie Nell who she loved so much; as well as her extended family, Pat McDonald, Terri (Steve), Rob (Leanne) and David; numerous relatives, and dear friends, Jean Frechette, David, Gail, Helen and Gerry. Linda grew up in Winnipeg and lived for a number of years in Vancouver before moving back to Winnipeg to care for her mother. She was employed by Edison Rental as a Building Manager at Fort Garry Place before her illness. Linda was a kind, caring, loving and generous person. She loved life to the fullest and her dream was just one more vacation. Linda fought a hard battle always with a positive attitude. Her concerns were for those she loved and not for herself. She made many peoples' lives happy with her strong work ethic and commitment to a job she loved. She was loved by so many who knew her. Gary's family and Leslie would like to thank the Lowry's, the Kissack's and friend, Linda B., for their kindness and help during this difficult time. We would also like to thank the Concordia Oncology staff and Dr. Pat Harris for Linda's exceptional care. Rest in Peace Dear Linda. May you suffer no more and may the sun forever shine upon your face. I will love you forever - Leslie. A celebration of Linda's life will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the 5th floor ballroom at Fort Garry Place, 85 Garry Street. Donations in Linda's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice. Cremation has taken place in Jamaica and a private family interment is to take place at a later date.
