ANNE RAMONA WIEBE On Tuesday, March 24, 2009 Anne Wiebe passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital to be with her Lord, with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband Edward; one daughter Candace (Wally) Thiessen and her precious grandchildren, Joey (Jen), Curtis (Alea) and Cassandra (Andrew); and her beloved cats, Milo, Linus and Isis. She was predeceased by one daughter Cassandra in 1983. Born and raised in the Winkler area, she worked in the Winkler Credit Union until she moved to Winnipeg where she worked for 30+ years in various office jobs. Anne loved her family, enjoyed spending time in the garden, at home and at the Lake. Her hands were always busy with needlework and she loved her soaps. She always wanted to learn new things. She loved/hated computers; she loved to draw and took oil and watercolor classes. She received her Hairdressing license and had a home business at West Hawk Lake. She loved to sing and before her illness was a member of the Gordon King United Church choir. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
