Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIETRICH (DICK) FUNK January 5, 1925 - March 2, 2009 Dick peacefully passed away Monday, March 2, 2009 in Kelowna Hospital, Kelowna, BC at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his parents, six brothers and five sisters. Dick is survived by his two daughters and two sons, Ginny (John) Elias and Kathy Nelson, Ricky (Penny) Funk and Richard; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and one sister, Ann (Peter) Neufeld. Dick grew up in Grunthal, MB, but for about the last 35 years his home was in Peachland, BC. A memorial to celebrate his life will be held 1:00 p.m. April 5, 2009 at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date.
