BERNICE (SADOWY) FONTAINE March 11, 1942 March 27, 2009 With her family at her side, Bernice passed away on Friday at St. Boniface Hospital. Bernice was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Cooks Creek, Manitoba. She married Louis on June 16, 1962. She is survived by her husband Louis, and daughters, Donna (Randy), Diana (Kevin), grandchildren, Danielle, Conrad and Myles, many nephews and nieces, and also William and Alex who were like a nephew and niece to her. As per Bernice's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, April 2 at 11:00 at Oakbank United Church Hall, 582 Balsam Crescent. Special thanks for Bernice's excellent care to the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital Dialysis Unit over the past years, and also the staff of 5E during her last week. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernice's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Branch, Unit 1-452 Dovercourt Drive, Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4.
