Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORESTINE CARRIERE After a lengthy illness, Florestine Carriere (nee Bellehumeur) passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family on March 27, 2009. She was born September 21, 1918 in St. Laurent, Manitoba. Florestine is survived by her children Ernest (Marilyn), Leonard (Roseanne), Patricia (Gabriel), Marcia (Ted), Lorraine (Brian), Lucy, Rita (Larry), Marcel and Verna (Don). Predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years Arthur, daughters Clea and Corinne and son-in-law Phillip. She also leaves to mourn her many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous friends. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church. Luncheon will be served at the Rec Centre following the service. The family would like to express thanks and gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, Manitoba for the excellent care and kindness. There are so many times I think of you grandma, missing you and wished you were still here with us. You were not only the best grandmother, but also a best friend. I miss our laughter and everything else we shared. Heaven sure gained an angel in you.
