Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCONSTANTINE (DINO) ALEVIZOS It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Constantine (Dino) Alevizos on Friday, March 27, 2009. Dino was born on March 8, 1932 in Saint's Theodore Kalamata, Greece. At the age of 14 he left his village and moved to Athens were he became a barber. He eventually owned and operated his own barbershop. He immigrated to Canada in December of 1961 to be with his future bride Vasiliki (Vicky) Lazaridis, who arrived in Canada one year earlier. They married on January 14, 1962. They just celebrated their 47th anniversary and his 77th birthday. Dino continued to work as a barber at the Kennedy Street Barber shop until 1975, where he began a 20-year career as a painter. Dino will be remembered for his humor and ability to make people laugh. He lived his life with integrity, commitment, and unrelenting passion for his family, both immediate and extended. He was a devout Christian and had no reservation in expressing his faith. He was predeceased by his parents Athanasios and Constantina, and two younger brothers Bill and Jim. He is survived by his wife Vicky, three sons, Tom, John, and Peter, his daughters-in-law, Roula and Darcie, and his five grandchildren Dino, Elleni, Alexis, Selena, Luke, his older sister and brother-in-law Angeliki and Bill Kitsakis, brothers-in-law Zach and Gus Lazaridis, brother and sister-in-law Nick and Voula Toufanidis, and sisters-in-law Effie and Soula Alevizos, and many nieces and nephews. We wish to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre Angio Department (GH1) for their compassion at this difficult time.
