Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICK DE VRIES Peacefully, with his family by his side, Nick De Vries passed away at Concordia Place Personal Care Home on March 27, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Nick was born in Cornjum, Friesland on October 7, 1932. With his wife and one child, he immigrated to Canada in 1953 and settled in Winnipeg, MB. He was predeceased by one daughter, Grace. Nick is survived by his wife of 58 years, Foty, nine children, 22 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Providence Reformed Church, 2615 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg. Coffee and refreshments will be served at the church following the service. The family wishes to extend sincere Thanks to the Staff at Concordia Place for their caring, kindness and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
