MATTHEW HENRY BROGGY SR. Matt passed away at his home on Thursday, March 26, 2009. Left to mourn his passing are his daughters, Linda (Glenn) Jones and Gloria Stein; sons, Matthew and David (Anna) Broggy and their families from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; brother Noel Broggy; sisters, Moyra Broggy and Kathleen Gregan Broggy of Ireland and Ann Kretz Broggy of Switzerland and their families. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Matt was born in Ireland and came to Canada with his sister at the age of 19. He worked at the Winnipeg Tribune and spent many hours at the Assiniboine Downs with his Thoroughbreds. Cremation has taken place and a family service will be held in Ireland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Canadian Institutes of Health Research, 160 Elgin Street - Room 97, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0W9 (cheque is to be made payable to The Receiver General for Canada) Chapel Lawn 885-9715
