LIM CHEE WONG It is with heavy hearts we say Good-Bye to our beloved mother and wife Lim Chee Wong, who passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital on March 26, 2009. Lim Chee was born and raised in Hong Kong, later settling in Winnipeg with her husband to raise their three children. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are her husband Shun Sang; children John and Joyce; son-in-law Ben; as well as numerous family in Hong Kong, Vancouver, and Boston. Lim Chee was predeceased by her beloved and loving daughter, Joanne. Family and friends knew Lim Chee as a caring, patient, dedicated, and hardworking woman with the gentlest of manners. Blessed with the true spirit of wanting to help others, she was selfless and generous in life. Like her daughter Joanne, Lim Chee was always smiling and enjoyed talking to people. Despite her illness, her strength of character and calm demeanor shone through to the end. Mom, you are an inspiration, an example to all of us. How fortunate that you were our Mother. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Concordia Hospital for the kind and compassionate care shown to Lim Chee. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Funeral service to be held on Monday, April 6, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, with a reception to follow.
