ROBERT WEDENSKY After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Wedensky on March 28, 2009 at the age of 55 years. Robert will be sadly missed by his wife Dolores, of 24 years, his sons Adam (Sheryl), granddaughter Ella; Joël, Shawn and Brett. Robert also leaves to mourn numerous family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Imelda. Robert was born on April 12, 1953 in Roblin, MB but lived in Eriksdale, MB for most of his school years. Robert was always a person who was there when you needed someone, especially for his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. Prayers will be held Thursday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m. in Notre Dame de Lorette Parish in Lorette. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 3, 10:30 a.m. in Notre Dame de Lorette Parish followed by an Interment Ceremony at 4:00 p.m. at the Eriksdale Cemetery in Eriksdale, MB with Fr. Armand LeGal officiating. We wish to thank all the staff of the GD6 Ward at Health Sciences Centre as well as the staff of the Ste. Anne Hospital, especially Dr. Paul de Moissac. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 375 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
