IRENE PERKINS (nee HORNSBY) Irene Perkins passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on March 30, 2009. Irene was predeceased by her father and mother; brothers: William, Harold, Lyal and Fred; sister Rita; grandson Michael; great- grandson Caelan; and her husband William. Irene is survived by her sons: Wayne (Margaret), Bob (Marta); daughter Sharon (David), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Klassen Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Thomson In the Park Cemetery. God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be, He wrapped you in His loving arms, and whispered Come to Me . You suffered much in silence, your spirit did not bend, You faced your pain with courage, until the very end. You tried so hard to stay with us, your fight was all in vain. God took you in His loving arms, and freed you from your pain. You didn't deserve what you went through, And so He gave you rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
