ERNEST MAURICE SCOTT Born on November 7, 1924 in Winnipeg and passed away in Coquitlam, BC on March 26, 2009. He will be remembered by his sister Willina (Jim); niece Willina (Dave); nephew Bruce (Kathy); great-niece Tara; great-nephews, Cameron and James; and great-great niece Serenity. Ernie was predeceased by his mother, Margaret and father Ernest Scott. He graduated from the University of Manitoba as an Electrical Engineer, working for Manitoba Hydro. Later he attended the University of Washington and UBC obtaining a PhD in Finance. He then went on to teach at Simon Fraser University ending his career as Vice President of Finance at SFU. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam, BC. Interment at Masonic Cemetery, Burnaby immediately following the funeral service.
