SUSAN PETERS April 1, 1911 - March 31, 2009 On March 31, 2009 Susan Peters went to be with her Lord at Donwood Manor with family and friends by her side. Left to mourn her passing are her brother Bill (Gladys), sister-in-law Hilda Peters, numerous nieces and nephews and their families, as well as many friends. She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Helena Peters, her sisters Selma and Hilda (Cornelius), and brother Rev. Peter Peters, as well as nephew Brent Peters. She was a blessing to everyone she met and had numerous talents. She loved entertaining, baking, cooking, knitting, and crocheting. She worked for Steinbach Lumber Yard, and for years at Colenso Lumber in Ontario as an accountant and secretary. A very special thanks to the wonderful staff at Donwood Manor who took such good care of her, and special thanks to Patty Doerksen who spent numerous hours at her bedside. Visitation will take place at Klassen Funeral Home 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2009. Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, April 5, 2009, with interment to follow at Mennonite Memorial Gardens.
