RUTH NANCY PEDERSON Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Middlechurch Personal Care Home, with her family by her side, Ruth Pederson, aged 93 years, passed away. She was predeceased by her husband Martin; son Chris; daughter-in-law Deanna; and sons-in-law, Al Kavanaugh and Basil Daost. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, David (Barb) and Doug (Margaret); daughters, Evelyn, Adele (Harry), Joanne, Karen (Mike), as well as 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Mom was a social butterfly, who loved to entertain her family and friends. Her hobbies were curling, sewing, knitting, fishing, cards and poetry. She enjoyed family gatherings and got great joy from spending time with her grandchildren. Mom will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. A special thanks to all the staff at the Middlechurch Personal Care Home for their wonderful care of our Mom. A private family service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
