Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJESSA KARALYNN JEAN BEAR (CARVER) (White Bear Woman) February 25, 2009 - April 1, 2009 It is with great sadness for Miranda Carver and Kenny Bear to announce their baby girl has passed and has gone to be with loved ones. Jessa passed away with loved ones around her and in the arms of her mother and father. Jessa came into this world with loved ones around her and then began to touch them with her beautiful button eyes. She was so strong and beautiful, everyone that came to see her could feel her strength and love. Jessa being born was one of the greatest gifts that any parent could ever feel or be proud of. Jessa's journey to be with the creator was assisted by her auntie Jessica, and we truly believe that Jessa is in very capable arms to continue loving and nurturing her. Jessa you were truly a gift given to us by the creator and now you are once again a little angel. Jessa has left to mourn her with her beautiful smile, her mother Miranda Carver; her father Kenny Bear; her sister Kyla Bear; her brother Kendal Bear; and her stepbrothers, Daniel Smith and Brandyn McKay; her grandparents, Gordon and Margery Carver, Jean and Pat Watkins; her godparents, Lori Carver, Joyce Bouttell, Patrick Watkins and Chris Carver; her aunties and uncles, Teresa (Gary) Ryder, Gordie II (Jodie) Carver, Lori Carver (Ivan) and Patrick Watkins. Her cousins, Chris Carver, Cody Carver, Gordie Carver III, Rochelle Ryder, Shayla Carver, Mary Ryder, Marissa Carver, Alyssa Carver and Iyanna Spence, and many great aunts, uncles and cousins. Jessa was predeceased by her great-grandparents, Harriet and Colin Bear, Florence and Clifford Carver, Agnes and Stanley Straight; uncles, Colin (Jake) Bear; auntie Jessica Straight Bear; and cousin Trish Jones. Wake services will be held on Saturday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. and funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 5 at 2:00 p.m., both in the Sergeant Tommy Prince School in Brokenhead Ojibway Nation with Pastor Tina Levesque officiating. Jessa will be laid to rest at the Scanterbury Anglican Churchyard. Pallbearers will be Patrick Watkins and Chris Carver. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Carver, Gordie Carver III, Rochelle Ryder, Anthony Straight, Destiney Straight and family and friends. Special thanks to the NICU Unit at the Children's Hospital and a special thanks to Kathryn for looking after our precious little angel. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
