SHELDA MARIAN COTTERILL (SWAILE) (nee HERROD) Shelda Marian Cotterill passed away at Cairnsmore Nursing Home in Duncan, BC on April 2, 2009. Shelda was born January 10, 1926 in Weyburn, SK. She grew up in Moose Jaw where she met and married Len Swaile in 1946. They spent their married life in Shaunavon, SK, Regina and Winnipeg. They had two boys - Jim and Gord. Sadly Len passed away in March of 1969. After Len's passing she worked at the Grace Hospital and Assiniboine Clinic as a switchboard operator. While in Winnipeg she enjoyed curling and coffee with friends. She moved to Vancouver Island in 1977 and married George Cotterill. George predeceased her on April 16th, 2006. She is survived by her sons, Jim (Dianne) and Gord (Cathie) and her grandchildren, Kelly (P.J.), Kirsten (Frankie), Jamie (Nicole), Jana (Marcia), and great-grandchildren, Molly, Oscar, Charlotte, Reese and Taylor. She is also survived by her sisters, Jeanne Wyenberg, Joanne O'Kell (Brian) and brother Bruce Herrod (Lenka). In keeping with Shelda's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place in Winnipeg at a later date. The family would like to thank Cairnsmore Nursing Home for their kindness and support.
