LESLIE B. (BILL) WILLIAMS May 22, 1933 - April 3, 2009 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Bill Williams on Friday, April 3, 2009 at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 75 years. Remaining to forever cherish Bill's memory are his loving wife Jenny; his children, Susan, Tesia (Curtis), Stephen (Anne), Mary (Doug); stepdaughter Lisa (Dean) and; respective grandchildren, Dionne and Derek, Jennifer and Taylor, Laura and Julie (Jeff), Mark, Jeffrey and Daniel, Holly and Jillian; and one great-grandson Cooper. He also leaves to cherish his memory his brother James Williams; and his sister Jean Robinson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Scott in 2006. Bill's career path was marked by service to others, first in the ministry and then as Supervisor of Counselling at Headingley Jail. He will always be remembered as a kind, caring and loving person. On Tuesday, April 7, Bill's funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. in the Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Avenue (corner of Mount Royal Road and Ness Avenue). For those who wish, parking is available in the Seventh Day Adventist Church parking lot located on Ness Avenue. Forever in our hearts!
