Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD CELESTIN WALTER MERCIER Edward Mercier of Ste. Rita, MB passed away peacefully at the age of 64 years at the Ste. Anne Hospital on Friday, April 3, 2009. He was predeceased by his parents Helene and Celestin and his sister Louise. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his son Steven and wife Linda; grandsons Allan and Ethan of Beausejour; Steven's mother Yvonne; brothers and sisters, Emile (Louise), Juliette (Les), Doris (Ed), Theresa (Howard), Irene (Morris), Marie (Gordon), Joe (Barb) as well numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Eddie's life will be held on Tuesday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ste. Rita Community Centre, Ste. Rita, MB with Rev. Fr. Mark Drozniak presiding. Interment of cremains will follow at the Ste. Rita Roman Catholic cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere thanks of the nursing staff at the Ste. Anne Hospital.
