DESJARLAIS January 21, 1988 - April 4, 2009 It is with great sadness and regret that the family of J.J. announces his tragic passing on April 4, 2009. He leaves to mourn mother Marilyn (Ed), father Gerald (Karmel); sisters Cynthia (George), Amanda, Letanya, Paige, stepsisters Alison, Vickie, brothers Keith, Joshua, stepbrother Jamie. Grandmother Marie, Baba Lillian, Pepere Eugene. He will be greatly missed by his nephews Braydon, Jaydon, Dakota and nieces Angel, Faith, Desiree, and Danielle. Also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A few special friends to name are Nat Maynard, Rim Maynard, and Rob Smith. He was predeceased by Memere Margaret, Grandpa Edwin, Gido George, Auntie Nancy, cousins Jordan, Gordon, uncles Jim and Ron. J.J. was recently employed at the Parmalat cheese factory in Grunthal, where he was referred to as little brother . J.J. enjoyed playing hockey, playing guitar, going hunting, and spending time with friends and family. He touched many lives with his winning personality. He knew how to make everyone feel special in their own way. Mom's going to miss your special hugs when you'd say hug me like you mean but you knew she meant it every time. Prayer services will be held in St. Pierre-Jolys at the St. Pierre Bible Fellowship church, Tuesday evening, April 7 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service Wednesday, April 8 at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Grunthal Cemetery. Pallbearers will be cousins Vinny Bricklin, Justin Dreger, and stepbrother Jamie Shepit, friends Rim Maynard, Richard Houle and Cody Pearse. Honourary pallbearers are brothers Keith Desjarlais, Joshua Chartrand, brother-in-law George Elsley, cousins Johnny Bricklin, Jerry Desjarlais, Adam Dreger, Shane Dreger, friends Robbie Laquette, Dean Dubois. Pastor William D. Evans officiating. Gone but not forgotten, we love you J.J.
