Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY (HANK) WIEBE 1934 - 2009 On Friday, April 3, 2009 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Hank Wiebe aged 75 years of Winkler formerly of Burwalde and Kleefeld passed away peacefully with his family at his side, after a challenging battle with cancer. Hank's full life consisted of playing hockey, farming, butchering, hunting, fishing, gardening and socializing. He spent 13 years hog farming in the Kleefeld area and four adventurous years fulfilling his dreams in Tuktoyaktuk, NWT. Left to cherish beautiful memories is his wife, Mary Ann Wiebe (nee Rempel); two daughters, Kim and Brian Friesen of Winkler, Kori and Laverne Penner of the Winkler district; one son, Kevin Wiebe of Abbotsford, BC; three precious grandchildren, Danika, Brittni and Justin Penner as well as his two sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St. in Winkler on Wednesday (today) from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a devotional following at 7:00 p.m. Viewing at the church an hour prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Winkler Mennonite Brethren Church, 120 Pineview Dr. Interment to follow at Westridge Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank Dr. Marilyn Day, Dr. Cornie Woelk and the wonderful chemo and medical staff at Boundary Trails Health Centre for the compassionate care. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Hank's memory to either the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan or Boundary Trails Health Centre Cancer Unit, both available at the church.
