SONIA (SONNY) HALICK June 12, 1939 - April 3, 2009 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Sonia Halick at Concordia Hospital on April 3, 2009, at the age of 69 years. Sonia was predeceased by her parents, Steve and Stephie Koniuck. Left to cherish and honour her memory are her husband of 51 years, Adam; children Jill, Jason (Diana), Adam (Anita), Lainie (Fred); grandchildren Jasmine, Joey, Lydia, Tyler, Brooklyn; sister Sylvia; brother Roy (Ollie); and family pet, Pepper. Sonia was a loving and caring person who was truly devoted to her family. She is deeply loved and will be forever missed by all who knew her. As per Sonia's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sonia's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. If love could have kept her here, she would never have gone. GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 338-7111
