JESSIE STARKELL Jessie Starkell peacefully passed away on April 7, 2009 at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 88 years. Jessie is survived by daughter Myrna (David); son Rick (Lori); grandchildren Daryle (Jen), Kelly (Joey), Tyler (Alana) and Charlene (Bruno); great-grandchildren Lauren, Madison, Cloe; daughter-in-law Lorraine. Jessie also leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Bill; sons Billy and Dale; brothers Angus, John and Donald and sister Christine. Jessie was born April 29, 1920 in Fort William, ON. Jessie was a wonderful person to be around. She was a hardworking, compassionate, giving person that loved to make people laugh and family happy. Family and friends were of utmost importance to her. After retirement from Eaton's, Jessie loved her travelling, enjoyed her shopping and loved spending as much time as possible at her cottage at Winnipeg Beach. On behalf of Jessie's family, they would like thank CancerCare and the staff at Deer Lodge Centre Chronic Care Ward Lodge 5. A private service will be held by request.
