DELORES ZALUSKI (nee OBIREK) With her family by her side, April 7, 2009 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Delores lived in Highland Glen, MB until after she was married. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Caroline Obirek. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Edward; children Dwayne (Faye), Duncan and Colleen; brothers and sisters Violet (Horst), Juliet (Mike), Laurel (Bill), Ken (Cheryl) and Dan (Sharon) and numerous nieces and nephews. Delores was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, baking and had a special devotion of prayer life. She loved preparing special meals for Christmas and Easter and loved having her family over. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Parish (W.K.) for 34 years and a CWL Maple Leaf member. For many years she worked at Tim Hortons - Inkster and Shepherd and had a special place in her heart for her co-workers and night shift customers. We would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of Seven Oaks Hospital emergency, fifth floor Unit 4 and Unit 1 for all their care and support for mom. Prayers will be said on Monday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Parish (W.K.) with Fr. Henryk Laciak officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden after service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
