GLENN HOWARD BALL It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Glenn Howard Ball at the age of 80 on April 7, 2009 at the Concordia Hospital. Glenn was predeceased by his parents, and brother Reginald Ball. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 59 years June; his children, Terry (Jackie), Chris, and Sharon; and by his grandchildren, Andrea (Andy) (Zeth, his great-grandchild), Brittany, and Jordan. Glenn was born July 14, 1928 in Winnipeg. He was employed with the Canadian Pacific Railway for 38 years, and after his retirement traveled with June to find their second paradise in Palm Springs, where they wintered for 19 years, and made many friends. His first paradise was the cottage in Grand Beach, where they summered for over 50 years. Glenn and June loved to dance, and were members of the East Kildonan dance group for many years. Glenn's friends were numerous, and he will be sadly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. In keeping with Glenn's wishes, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
