WALTER ARNOLD BAESSLER Walter Arnold Baessler, passed away peacefully April 8, 2009 in Penticton, BC. Survived by sister-in-law, Lillian of Winnipeg, and numerous nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, Penticton and Duncan, BC. Predeceased by brothers, Adolphe and Rudolph, sisters, Olga, Pauline and Theolinda. He was employed by Imperial Oil, and served in the Royal Canadian Navy. His passion was golf with a hole -in -one to his credit. Memorial service will take place April 15 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Penticton. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery, where he joins his beloved wife, Catherine. Memorial donations gratefully accepted to the Catherine and Walter Baessler Memorial Education Fund of Concordia Lutheran Church, 2800 South Main Street, Penticton BC, V2A 6W3.
